Yarn Along – Beehive Beanie

I've been quickly knitting this Beehive Beanie by Michelle with some leftover yarn from this (almost finished!) project. The pattern is easy to follow, I liked the work itself as well as the result. However, the hat is too small for our Summer Boy and too big for our Winter Baby. So we'll see how it

I am reading Beyond the Sky and the Earth: A Journey into Bhutan by Jamie Zeppa, a Canadian woman who travelled into this amazing country as a young teacher in 1989. I am enjoying the book a lot as I enjoy reading good biographies and travel reports.

Ich lese Mein Leben in Bhutan von Jamie Zeppa. Ein tolles Buch über ein tolles Land, geschrieben von einer Kanadierin, die im Hinterland von Bhutan ursprünglich als Gastlehrerin in einer Schule arbeiten sollte und länger blieb als sie dachte. Gefällt mir sehr gut; ich lese ja gerne Lebensgeschichten und Reiseberichte.

Der Beehive Beanie von Michelle ist während der Wochenbettzeit entstanden. Ich mag die Anleitung, die Mütze war schnell gestrickt, ist aber leider zu gross für's Winterbaby und zu klein für's Sommerkind. Vielleicht was für den nächsten Winter.
