I started talking about relaxation this week and how we sometimes need to get a break from it all. Winter has finally brought us some snow around here and with it some quiet time in the warmth and cosiness of our home, snuggling up on the couch, reading and knitting.
Do YOU enjoy knitting as a form of relaxation or meditation?
Cause that’s what it’s supposed to be, isn’t it? Sometimes though, I have to remind myself of that, especially when I get nervous about a pattern or really want to finish something on time.
Still, having handspun the yarn for this project, and although having started for the third time (AND being suspicious about the size…) I am enjoying the tea leaves. The pattern is so natural and I love to work with the yarn.
All fascinated by meeting Dr. Jane Goodall in person yesterday at a museum in Munich, we are reading „Rickie and Henri“ – a children’s book based on a true story. I did also get „Hope for animals and their world“ signed by the author, but still have to finish a couple of other books first…
