The race lace is on!
Up to this point, I wasn't quite sure myself whether I would be able to finish this shawl until Christmas but now that I am almost half way through the lace part (that I've been warned about…) I think there's a good chance I will.
Using every quiet moment.
Like this one. An afternoon nap without prior notice.
As cosycactus stated: "Good that your knitting was close…"
It's harder, when this little guy is awake. He is confident, that the cork I am using for the knitting is his to play with. No problem. We just had to have some more wine and now everyone is happy around here…
Who said "Don't Drink and Knit"…?

I lOVE camomille…in fact, so much, that I just tried locating a copy of the pattern. 🙁 not to be. oh, well….i really didn’t need more temptation; I’ll just enjoy watching yours be finished!!!
It’s looking real pretty. Applied edging is a killer. But it looks gorgeous at the end.
Love this soft grey… And you use bottle corks to keep your stitches from slipping?! How smart is that?!!! Thank you for a great idea! 🙂
This is a pattern that I love! I have been trying to find it for ages!! I can’t wait to see yours all finished.
„We just had to have some more wine and now everyone is happy around here…“ Made me giggle out loud! Beautiful pattern!
That is beautiful…and tiny! So pretty.
What beautiful lace work! Love the color you chose.
Hach, wird der schön. Ich muss bis Weihnachten noch einen zweifarbig gemusterten Handschuh schaffen, mag aber noch nicht so richtig. Aber leider wurde er sehr stark „gewünscht“.
Pretty shawl! And I like the idea of using wine corks to keep your stitches safe!
The lace looks lovely! And the yarn so fine.
