Yarn Along – Babies, Wool and Sibling Love

Continuing from here.

(I just realized that this quilt is in a lot of my pictures. Just love it that much.)

So there's more Rosy Green Wool. "Sand" this time. Reminds me of the holiday and the beach.

That may be why I decided to make a wavy sort of baby blanket. (Yes, more family-babies on the way! But not in this house, no worries.) It took me a while to figure out a pattern. It is after all quite straight forward though and slowly but surely the blanket keeps growing.

I've been putting aside a few books for our family holiday. Amongst others:
The sound of a Wild Snail Eating by Elisabeth Tova Bailey and South of the Border, West of the Sun by Haruki Murakami. Intentionally no educational books this time.

What book(s) would you recommend for a holiday?

Ich kann gar nicht genug kriegen von der Rosy Green Wolle. Diesmal "Sand", wahrscheinlich einer Urlaubslaune geschuldet, ebenso wie das Wellenmuster, das ich mir für die Babydecke zurechtgelegt habe.
