T’is is the time of year, when decoration of the sweet sort starts disappearing around here. All that is discovered are scathered crumbles around the Christmas tree. Instead of blaming each other, Mama knit someone to blame…
Now everytime something disappears from the tree or elsewhere, we blame the „Christmas Mouse“. And look at him, he’s so cute, you can hardly be mad at him, can you.
Besides gingerbread, he likes reading. So we are reading to him „Sieben Mäuse brauchen neue Kleider“ („Seven mice need new clothes“) – very old fashioned and sweet.
By the way, our little fellow here asked me to say hello to his gourmet-relatives, who live in Paris. It’s said, that they have wonderful cookies there. He wants to come visit one day!
