Part One of another pair of Ginger Cuffs from Helga Isager's wonderful Maschenpoesie. (Which apparently is not available at the moment…)
I could not resist this beautiful, hand dyed yarn from Hey Mama Wolf when I visited a local yarn store last Saturday.
It does make me feel like the sun shining straight into my heart.
And it is indeed dyed with St. John's Wort which is, after all, a herb of the sun, I would say.
I am very much looking forward to her new dyes this year, yellow sock yarn, amongst other things. But I also got in the mood of knitting a Trachtenjanker in that color, like Frau Gold did. Oh, lovely!
…
But for now, I am finishing my second Cuff.
And then back to Garter Stitch.
Talking of which, the Baby Hat pattern is test knit and published here:
So happy!

I love those mitts! So pretty! And of course that baby photo is precious!
Those mittens make me want to dive into spring! The color and design are dripping with sun and are beautiful. Enjoy them!
So cute! I love those mitts too–what a wonderful multi-season color and pattern!
Who could resist such a color! The mitts are pretty, I am planning on knitting up some for presents this year and those may have to go on my list! The baby hat makes me long for a little one to knit it for.
Love the mustard yarn. Naturally dyed too….fabulous!
Curious as to what ’natural children‘ might be?!
Oh very sweet hat! And elegant cuffs, I love the colour too
