Yarn Along – Our Baby Knits

von NATURMAMA

Inspired by Ginny's collection and introduction of her baby knits, I would like to show you some of my current favorites as well. Some of which you might have seen before.

Sort of clockwise, starting at the bottom left (with the one piece I have not knit myself):

• Preloved sweater from Ramona (Thank you! Love it! Just our style!)

Simple newborn hat with a touch of lace pattern by Ginny. Cotton.

• Threepointed Baby Hat. My mother used to knit dozens of these since she was a teenager. We are working out a pattern for that one. Pure Sheep Wool/Dochtwolle.

• Smallest of Coughing Shirts. Measurements here. Pure Sheep Wool.

• Cable-knit Coughing Shirt, next size.

Baby Socks, yeah! Just finished a written pattern to publish it soon.

Baby Sleeping BagNATURKINDER Pattern available here. Too small already – working on the next size. Pure Sheep Wool/Dochtwolle.

Puerperium Jacketfree pattern by Kelly Brooker. Handspun Sheep Wool.

Baby Leg Warmers with notes/instructions.

  More projects on Ravelry.
  More wanna-be-projects on this Board.

As far as reading is concerned, I am working on a collection as well, currently updating our list(s) of favorite books.

Heute gibt's hier Babystrick- und Bücher-Lieblinge.

Oben meine aktuellen Strick-Favoriten.

Fein.

Oh – these are so sweet. My cousin is having a baby in July and I may have to use this post as knitting inspiration!

The best! I love babies in neutral colors, as opposed to multi- or funny-coloured clothing 🙂 They are just too beautiful themselves! Love.
