Die Hyazinthen-Saison ist auch schon fast wieder vorbei. Aber bevor sie verblüht sind, wollten wir noch etwas ausprobieren. Jetzt hab ich schon ein paar Mal die einzelnen Blütenkelche auf einen Ring gefädelt als Serviettenring gesehen.
Sieht aus wie Porzellan, oder? Und die Blüten halten auch eine ganze Weile frisch.
Und das ist die NATURKINDER-Variante.
Dafür braucht man nur ein paar Blütenkelche aus der Blume zwicken und kann sie immer noch in einer Vase auf den Tisch stellen. Ein paar kleine Glasperlen braucht man noch (Danke, Doro!) und dünnen Basteldraht, der locker um die Servietten gewickelt wird. (Zuerst um eine dünne Flasche, damit er schön in Form hält.)
Oder doch einfach nur eine Blume aus Draht? (Die NATURMAMA hat sich ein bisschen gespielt…)

To make these napkin rings, you need a hyacinth flower, thin wire and tiny glass beads if you like. I have seen the first type in a magazine, where you thread the flowers on the wire and put it around the napkin.
While we were threading, we started playing around a bit and ended up with the wire losely around the napkin, flower at the tip, decorated with a glass bead. That way, most of the hyacinth flower stays intact and can be put in a vase for decoration purposes.
(Be aware though, especially with little children, that the flowers are NOT EDIBLE!)
