Yarn Along – More of those Tiny Knits

I've seen this book many times in it's original English version and meant to order it for a while. Now that Extra Garn has been published in German, I couldn't be more curious. It turns out, that inside it is very different than I had imagined. What a sweet little story! Lovely.

Talking about extra yarn, I am so thankfull for those leftover bits at the moment, since quite a few accessories for the Doll Family are on the wish list for Christmas. At least our eldest daughter knows that neither Santa nor the Christkind does knit (because they don't have time) so I might even get some credit here.

Just finished one Set of Winter Accessories before we had some more snow yesterday and Ronja would try it on right away.

Slouchhat, mittens and scarf.

I worked out a pattern, the tutorial in German or English is now available here.

However, the daughter ordered fingerless mitts as well, which I am knitting from leftover yarn and following my currently favorite Helga Isager pattern. Except a bit smaller of course and without the thumbs. Ravelry Notes here.

What can I say, daughter and Doll can be quite sophisticated. The latter is supposed to wear them with her Little Kina.

I am enjoying it though, the lace pattern still off the top of my head.

Nach und nach werden die schönen Wollreste von grösseren Projekten weniger. Denn es stehen, unter anderem, einige Puppen-Winter-Accessoires auf der Weihnachts-Wunsch-Liste. Zumindest die grosse Tochter weiss, dass weder der Weihnachtsmann noch das Christkind stricken (sie haben einfach nicht so viel Zeit…) und daher freut sie sich auch über ein Geschenk von der Mama.

Inzwischen ist ein Set mit krausem Bündchenmuster fertig geworden, das Ronja schon mal ausprobiert hat im Schnee.

Ich habe eine Anleitung zusammengeschrieben für Mütze, Schal und Fäustlinge. Die gibt es nun hier. Ich hab mir gedacht, das kann man gut noch bis Weihnachten stricken, an ein paar kuschligen Abenden.

Einstweilen braucht Ronja aber unbedingt noch Mini-Ginger-Stulpen. Weil ich das Loch-Muster noch im Kopf habe macht das recht viel Spass.
