(Just wondering what kind of traffic I will get on my page with this kind of headline. Klick away, it’s all very moral around here.)
So, anyway.
Whilst knitting one, no, actually almost two, top-down-sweaters with Filcolana Gotlansdsk pelsuld, I have also been using up lots of leftover yarn.
To keep these tiny legs warm.
(And to make a few pom-poms, too.)
I guess, our favorite colour is all the more due to the season. Luckily I have just enough leftovers from this lovely project.
They look quite warm and happy in their new pants.
Two of these are knit in the classic version, one has got an elegant touch to it.
They are part of Ronja’s Christmas Outfit, all handmade.
Both versions of the tights are available NOW in one pattern via DaWanda, Etsy and Ravelry, both in German and English.
And then, of course, when Luna saw the Mustard Pom-Poms and Tights, she wanted some of her own as well.
Pretty straight forward really, but to spare you the maths, I will suggest a few numbers for Jess Brown Doll Legs (using lace weighted yarn and matching set of dp needles):
Cast on 18 sts,
divide onto 4 (or 3…) needles
and join the round.
Knit in the round in stockinette stitch
and increase by 1 st 4 times every 4 cm.
(On the first needle, k1, M1R, knit until end of round).
So, by 16 cm you will have 22 sts on your needles
and continue knitting these in stockinette stitch
until you reach the desired length of the tights.
(Mine are 20 and 22 cm long, I like the way they curl up at the bottom.)
Weave in ends.
Have fun knitting!

What sweet little dolls and a beautiful color pallet. I love them! This might be just the inspiration I needed to start such a project for my babes for the holidays. Thank you.
Die sind ja süß!! 🙂
Was bin ich verliebt in diese Farben. Die Puppen. Die Wolle. Das Gestrick. Hach!
~ Absolutely love Doll Tights !! ~
I saw your post in Ginny’s Small Things blog. I’ll be purchasing the pattern for I know several Waldorf dolls who are in need of gifting this year. The color scheme of your doll clothing is WONDERFUL. So delighted to find your blog. I can’t wait to see what other patterns you create!~
Best,
Shell ~
