Amongst other things I was going to show you a few easter basket ideas for (soon to come!) Easter. Well, this one is a bit out of sequence, since it sort of is the „big brother“ of this little basket that once got me hooked on jute yarn.
(But thinking about it, I could well imagine it filled with grass as well – at least there will be plenty of room for presents. Or it might just be a present itself.)
Jute Yarn. Can’t get enough of it and projects just keep coming to my mind as of what could be done with it. It’s not easy to work with but it’s fast and crocheting SCs it has enough stability for objects of daily use. Bare with me if there are more coming up on Ginny’s Yarn Along.
And I don’t seem to be the only one who loves the material.
Guys, this is not even finished yet! (One can guess, what my next jute yarn project might be…)

I decided to add handles.
The basket could be used for yarn as well. Or for laundry I suppose.
Ja, eigentlich wollte ich Euch dieser Tage ein paar Oster Körbchen Ideen vorstellen. Dieser hier fällt nun ein bisschen aus der Reihe. Er geht vielleicht als der „große Bruder“ von diesem kleinen Osterkörbchen durch.
(Obwohl, wenn ich so drüber nachdenke, könnte der Korb ganz gut aussehen mit Heu drin. Umso mehr Geschenke passen rein!)
Ich kann halt einfach nicht genug kriegen vom Häkeln mit Jute-Garn. Da schweben mir noch so einige Projekte vor. Katzenkörbchen zum Beispiel…
