Full moon is only due September 30th? I am sure it must be today – just in time for Ginny’s Yarn Along.
Here it is. Proudly presenting Luna 5.
This Mega Crafting Project started about a year ago, when Dörte from Handmade Kultur Magazine asked me to participate in a venture of crocheting a lamp together with four other women for their October Issue. I did my part and crocheted 6 hexagons for the lamp and instructions for the same.
Luna 5 became so popular around here, that a lot of readers would ask for more instructions and I agreed on writing 4 more.
Having already crocheted so many hexagons I decided I could well try to finish all 32 parts and make my own Luna.
Sewing them together was fun.
Then came one last challenge…
…and a couple of drawbacks.
But all’s well that ends well.
Reading? Maybe I should be reading something like „How to avoid getting SUCKED INTO projects accidentally“. But I am not sure whether that book has been written yet.
Even if so, most of the time I am quite content with the outcome of such accidents, so that I will soon forget how much work it has been.
And I am quite sure I am not the only one being afflicted by this phenomenon. Or am I?
