But now I am pretty determined with the lace pattern and soon there will hopefully be an adult version.

Since my visit to the toy fair and my reflections, I feel assured, that less is more, especially with children's toys. Handmade toys or dolls are always a favorite option.

Hence the books from Verlag Freies Geistesleben that are offering traditional, waldorf-inspired instructions on how to make or even carve your individual toys: Spielzeug von Eltern selbst gemacht • Holzspielzeug selbst gestalten • both from Freya Jaffke. I think, some of her books have been translated.

And I am looking forward to hosting another PuppenMITmacherei (Doll Sew Along) this year with Maria from Mariengold!
